I'm still alive!

I promise. I just  haven't been terribly on the ball as far as updating the website has been concerned. However, 2008 will see exciting stuff,  and much more dedication.

Truly.

As expected...

... I am updating this blog with the same regularity I employ in doing things like hoovering.

Things that have happened in the past few weeks:

  • The Shiny Awards. I spent Wednesday night faux-presenting awards to various Great and Good, with the lovely Katie Lee. Not sure we've secured a regular spot, due to our inability to match the cards in our hands with what was going on with the powerpoint presentation. Still, I like to think it gave it a relaxed and unique quality.
  • I have commissioned my first piece of furniture. I am currently waiting for it to arrive, and it should have been here 2 hours ago, so at this  rate it might also be my last piece of furniture.

I'm the makings of a pub quiz!

In a bizarre turn of events, I was the subject of a quiz question from The Metro last year. I only found it because I was trying to discover if this page showed up in Google searches, just so you know. I don't often Google myself. Well, not that often...
You can check out the link here. But if you're too lazy, let me show you the question:

Bloody cheek.

1How did Susi Weaser, 24, from north london land a job as a TV presenter for the BBC?

A new website

After promising myself for many *many* months that I'd get my act together and put together my web page, I've actually got round to doing it. Hooray.

And, I now have another blog to update. Good idea? Bad idea? Never going to happen idea? We'll see.

  • Something for the Weekend. I  quit, and am now enjoying my Sunday morning lie-ins the same way I enjoy a bottle of wine after the flu i.e. immensely.  It's all incredibly busy at the moment, but I said I'd cover any new presenter who needs a week off if they needed me. There's also other stuff "in the pipeline" (did I really just write that??).
